Text a Friend Exercise
Here is an exercise you can do to practice forcing positive. Find a friend who wants to help you. Now, when you find yourself thinking negative about something, send a text to that person turning that negative thought into a positive one. It can be silly things too! Like you notice someone didn’t change the empty roll of toilet paper and you find yourself grumbling, “Why am I the only one who replaces the toilet paper.” Stop. Think of a positive response to that and then send a text to that friend. A possible response could be, “I always get the opportunity to serve the people of my home by replacing the toilet paper for them.” You will begin to notice everyone around you focuses on the negative “Can’t”. When you focus on the CAN you raise the positive energy around you and become more powerful than any of them.
